This is the EPIC tale of Acheron.
I have never been made so emotional by a book... ever. By the time you get to Acheron's long-awaited story, you are already 15 books in to the Dark-Hunter series and Ash has been a huge part of each story in some way.
His story is NOT easy to read, in a word this entire book is heart-wrenching.
With that being said, I think it is hands down one of my most favorite books in this entire world. The catch is that in oder to appreciate it, YOU HAVE TO READ THE FIRST FIFTEEN books or you will not get the full experience of what tragedy befalls this character.
And, no matter how many times tears may well up, you always know that as with all Dark-Hunter stories, Acheron will and finally does find his HEA (Happily Ever After).
